In 2016, Scott Anderson began his art project 282 lines. He uses walking and running to take a rope for drawing a line on the summit of Scotland's highest mountains, collectively known as Munros.

The body in relation to journey, land, time, movement, environment and place are interrelated aspects of his aesthetic.

​

Scott Anderson was born in Edinburgh, Scotland. He received his MFA from Edinburgh College of Art in 1999. He's a Professor of Art and Design at Cape Cod Community College in Massachusetts.
